Tatu City and Stanbic Bank partner to make property ownership easier for Kenyans
Partnership opens doors for more Kenyans and diaspora investors to own homes in Kenya’s new city

Tatu City, Kenya, 22 May 2025 – Tatu City, Africa’s leading new city, located just 30 minutes from Kenya’s capital, Nairobi and Stanbic Bank Kenya, a leading commercial bank in Kenya, have entered into a strategic partnership to make property ownership more accessible for Kenyans and the diaspora through flexible and reliable financing solutions.
The agreement, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, enables prospective homeowners to access loans for properties at Tatu City and sister projects Oaklands and Zuri Springs, which are modern, master-planned communities developed and owned by Rendeavour, Africa’s largest new city builder with city-scale projects in six African countries.

On their part, Stanbic Bank has partnered with the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company to offer up to 105% financing for homes valued up to KES 10.5 million, with a fixed interest rate of just 9.5%.
