Nick is a Chartered General Practise Surveyor with 25 years’ experience of real estate development in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa, managing the early stage delivery of several major projects.

At Rendeavour, Nick is responsible for the delivery of Tatu City.

Prior to this, Nick lived in Ghana, where he was responsible for Rendeavour's satellite city development, Appolonia City.

Prior to joining Rendeavour, Nick was responsible for the leasing of Avia Park, Europe’s largest shopping and entertainment centre. In Vietnam, he delivered the masterplan of Green Tech City, Hanoi.

Nick's development experience covers the whole range of property sectors, with the main focus on residential, commercial, retail and hotels.

Chris Ochieng

Chris is a developer with global experience, having planned, structured, conceptualized and executed mixed-used developments and urban nodes in the Middle East and Africa.

Before Joining Tatu, Chris spent four years as the managing director of Athena Properties Limited, a subsidiary of Centum Investments, where he developed the Two Rivers development in Nairobi, Pearl Marina in Uganda and the Vipingo development in Kilifi, Kenya.

Prior to Joining Centum and forming Athena Properties, Chris was involved in spearheading developments across the whole real estate value chain in the Middle East. Among the projects he worked on are Dubai World Trade Centre, Accor Hotels and Dubai Sports City.

He is also actively involved in charity organisations with a focus on mentoring the African youth and enriching the capacity of the less fortunate in society.

Dean Shillaw

Dean is responsible for the delivery of the Tatu Industrial Park and the commercial precinct of Tatu City.

Prior to this, Dean worked for a leading South African development company with over 100 years of experience in the retail, commercial and industrial sub-sectors. Before that, Dean worked on the Knight Frank industrial agency and capital market teams.

Dean holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. He then developed his real estate skill set by completing the E.C.C.P. of University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and succeeded in receiving two national qualification certificates from the South African Estate Agency Affairs Board of South Africa.

Beatrice Njeri

Beatrice has over eight years’ experience in real estate and end buyer financing, having previously worked for Housing Finance.

Beatrice holds a BSC degree from Letourneau University and an MBA from Tarleton State University, both in Texas, USA.

Mark Phelan

Mark joins the Tatu City team as the Head of Commercial Development from JLL where he was the Director, Sub Saharan Africa.
Prior to this he worked with Regus Plc as a Development Director, Tesco as Head of Acquisition among other companies.
His specialities include; property acquisition, property development, property investment, property disposals, Property Portfolio and Fund Management and Lease Negotiation.

Anthony Njoroge

Anthony has over 10 years’ experience in Project Management for infrastructure and real estate development projects.

He has served as Lead Project Engineer of Tatu City since 2012, working closely with the project design team to develop the current Tatu City master plan.

Anthony has a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Trine University, Indiana, in the United States, and is a registered professional engineer in Kenya and the United States.

Tito Oduk

Tito has over 10 years’ experience in real estate having previously worked as a commercial agent at Knight Frank, Head of Agency & Facilities Management at Acorn, and as Business Development Manager at Redline Interiors & Construction Ltd.

He has been in charge of letting of commercial developments such as Karen Office Park, Tiara Office Park, 14 Riverside, Delta Corner amongst others.

He is also a former Kenya Rugby international.

Tito holds a bachelors degree in Commerce in Management Science from the University of Nairobi.

Moses Kimani

Architect & Urban Designer

Moses Gathua Kimani is a talented and skilled Architect with special skills in Architecture, Urban
planning and Design, and space planning. He has over 10 years working experience in different roles as an Architect and is registered by the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS).

Prior to Joining Tatu City, Moses worked for SK Archplans in Nairobi before moving to Cape Town South Africa to join NOA and Associates. He was appointed projects architect and design associate in for several Competition winning schemes like the Skipper Mixed Use Development in Nigeria (AFRICAN PROPERTY AWARDS 2012), airports, train stations, hospitals, and urban developments, among many other projects in South Africa and Nigeria before joining Athena Properties in Nairobi in July 2014 as an Architect and Urban Designer. At Athena, Moses worked various projects including; Two Rivers Lifestyle Centre, Le Mistraal Holiday homes and Vipingo City.

Moses is also a holder of an bachelor of Architecture degree from JKUAT, School of Architecture and Building Sciences (SABS) and a Masters degree (MPhil) in Urban Infrastructure; Design and Management from the University of Cape Town, South Africa where he completed courses in: Developing Cities; Issues & Strategies, Sustainable Urban Systems, Community Development, Urban Renewal, Advanced Infrastructure Management and Network Neighborhood ecologies. Prior to Joining Tullow Oil, he worked for Katahira & Engineers International as a highway design consultant. He also worked for Atlas Development and Support services a UK based company dealing with construction of infrastructure in Oil and Gas Arena as a Senior Project manager and delivered Several Oil Well Exploration Sites, Kapese Air strip, Water reticulation to the Turkana community and Roads. Other Consultancy firms he has worked for include Otieno Odongo & Partners, Gibb International and Surtech Consulting engineers. Specializing in Highway materials & pavement design.
