Wambu has more than two decades of infrastructure and development experience in Kenya and international markets.
Wambu joined Tatu City from Acorn Holdings Africa, where he was Head of Development and Senior Project Manager, responsible for several well-known commercial and residential developments in Kenya. Prior to Acorn, Wambu worked for 10 years at Pell Frischmann Consultants designing and delivering UK national infrastructure projects.
A self-professed bridge fanatic, Wambu holds an MSc in International Construction Management & Engineering and a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering with Architecture from University of Leeds.
Urban Planning and Design Manager
Wamagata manages urban planning and design for Tatu City. Previously, he worked with Centre for Urban and Regional Planning (CURP) and Planning Systems Services on several public and private projects including Urban Development Plans in Eldoret, Lamu, Kisumu and Nairobi.
Wamagata holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Landscape Architecture from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), a Master of Arts Degree in Urban Planning from University of Nairobi, and a Master of Science in City Design and Social Science from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
Arnold’s experience in the construction industry includes infrastructure design and supervision, infrastructure visualization and quantification. A part-time infrastructure software trainer, Arnold uses the latest design software for efficiency of work and pre-determined construction outcomes for troubleshooting before onsite work commencement.
Arnold’s experience spans more than 10 years, working as a civil engineering consultant for Metrix, NM Engineering, K&P Engineering, Masfy Consultants Limited, North-tech Engineering and Kiambu County.
Arnold is a certified Autodesk professional and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi.
Shelmith manages the administrative functions of the Construction & Delivery unit, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
Prior to Tatu City, Shelmith worked with the County Government of Kirinyaga as a Projects Officer, as well as with Civotech Associates, where she was tasked with the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment reports.
SEZ One Stop Shop
SEZ Operations Manager
As the SEZ Operations Manager, Thomas provides technical support to investors and stakeholders of Tatu City Special Economic Zone (SEZ) on matters related to SEZ operations, tax, customs and other statutory regulations. Thomas leads the Tatu City One-Stop Shop and serves as liaison between Tatu City SEZ clients and the government agencies.
Before joining Tatu City, Thomas worked as Project Manager and Customs Officer at diverse technical and managerial levels at the Kenya Revenue Authority for 15 years.
Thomas is a Certified Prince2 (Practitioner) Project Manager and holds MBA (Operations Management), Bachelor of Computer Science and Advanced Diploma in Project Management.
One Stop-Shop Clerk

George focuses on the financial aspects of building Tatu City’s utilities business. He also supports the financial accounts of Kofinaf, a company affiliated with Tatu City.
Prior to joining Kofinaf in 2015, George worked in the banking sector for 10 years, where he gained financial reporting experience.
George holds an MBA from St. Paul’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Egerton University. George is a Certified Public Accountant and a member Institute of Certified Secretaries.

Virginia is responsible for financial and commercial analysis of land transactions, development projects and other business opportunities. Utilising her expertise in finance and business analysis, she ensures that all business plans and financial models are created and maintained for the real estate developments and the power, water and telecom businesses.
Virginia spent the majority of her early career in the energy and telecommunications industries.
Fredrick manages accounting processes such as reporting, tax, audit, accounts receivable, accounts payable and internal systems analysis.
Before joining Tatu City, Fredrick worked for Solvochem East Africa Ltd, an international logistics company.

Jackline is a financial and payroll real estate accountant. With both accounting and auditing experience, she is well versed in financial planning and budgeting, internal controls, risk assessment, preparation of financial statements and financial reporting.
Jackline holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance Major) with ACCA certification.

Maria has more than a decade of experience in finance.
She is a Certified Public Accountant in Kenya and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi.
