Responsible for the delivery of Tatu City, Chris joined Rendeavour in 2011 and has held the positions of COO, Head of Sales and Operations Manager.

Prior to Rendeavour, Chris worked for the United Nations World Food Programme, where he served in the Darfur region of Sudan, Somalia, the West Bank and Gaza and Pakistan. Prior to that, he worked in the humanitarian sector with the HALO Trust, in Cambodia, Angola, Eritrea and Abkhazia. Chris started his career with the Australian Defence Force, where he served in the Australian Regular Army as an infantry officer.

Chris is the Chairman of the Rendeavour CSR Committee.

Beatrice Njeri

Beatrice has over eight years’ experience in real estate and end buyer financing, having previously worked for Housing Finance.

Beatrice holds a BSC degree from Letourneau University and an MBA from Tarleton State University, both in Texas, USA.

Mark Phelan

Head of Commercial Development

Mark joins the Tatu City team as the Head of Commercial Development from JLL where he was the Director, Sub Saharan Africa.
Prior to this he worked with Regus Plc as a Development Director, Tesco as Head of Acquisition among other companies.
His specialities include; property acquisition, property development, property investment, property disposals, Property Portfolio and Fund Management and Lease Negotiation.

Anthony Njoroge

Project Manager

Anthony has over 10 years’ experience in Project Management for infrastructure and real estate development projects.

He has served as Lead Project Engineer of Tatu City since 2012, working closely with the project design team to develop the current Tatu City master plan.

Anthony has a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Trine University, Indiana, in the United States, and is a registered professional engineer in Kenya and the United States.

Tito Oduk

Commercial Sales Manager

Tito has over 10 years’ experience in real estate having previously worked as a commercial agent at Knight Frank, Head of Agency & Facilities Management at Acorn, and as Business Development Manager at Redline Interiors & Construction Ltd.

He has been in charge of letting of commercial developments such as Karen Office Park, Tiara Office Park, 14 Riverside, Delta Corner amongst others.

He is also a former Kenya Rugby international.

Tito holds a bachelors degree in Commerce in Management Science from the University of Nairobi.

Alex Kahu

Alex has a wealth of experience in ICT infrastructure and services.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Strathmore University in IT, and an MBA from Kenyatta University.

Jacqueline Maigua

Jacqueline has over four years’ experience in Property Management having managed properties such as Delta Corner and 9 Riverside.

Before joining Tatu City, she previously worked with Knight Frank.

Jacqueline has a BA in Land Economics from the University of Nairobi.

Shazeen Rahemtulla

Shazeen is responsible for brand development, corporate communications, media management, research, and planning & delivery of marketing and advertising strategies for the project. She also manages the Corporate Social Responsibility portfolio for Tatu City.

Shazeen holds a bachelors degree in Business and Commerce in Economics and International Business from Monash University.

Ruth Muiruri

Legal Advisor, Commercial

Prior to joining Tatu, Ruth worked for Coulson Harney LLP which is one of the largest corporate and commercial legal practices in Kenya - part of Bowmans, a leading African law firm headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, with offices in four African countries. Before that Ruth worked in various law firms in Nairobi including Raffman Dhanji Elms & Virdee Advocates among others.

She is a graduate of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (Bachelor of Laws (LLB)) and of Kenya School of Law (Postgraduate Diploma). Ruth is a licensed Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and East Africa Law Society (EALS).

Eric has several years of experience in Civil Engineering which can be broken down into consultancy & Highway design, construction project management, and design and construction supervision in Oil and gas projects.

Before Joining Tatu, Eric spearheaded the Delivery of the Tullow Oil Early Oil Pilot Scheme infrastructure including pipeline, roads and water, Construction of production Oil well pads Including Ngamia 3, 8 & 11. Prior to Joining Tullow Oil, he worked for Katahira & Engineers International as a highway design consultant. He also worked for Atlas Development and Support services a UK based company dealing with construction of infrastructure in Oil and Gas Arena as a Senior Project manager and delivered Several Oil Well Exploration Sites, Kapese Air strip, Water reticulation to the Turkana community and Roads. Other Consultancy firms he has worked for include Otieno Odongo & Partners, Gibb International and Surtech Consulting engineers. Specializing in Highway materials & pavement design.

Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Nairobi. He is a Certified Oil and Gas Safety and health Professional recognized by ISHM (Institute for Safety and Health Management) U.S.A and NSMS (National Safety Management Society) U.S.A. He is a graduate member of Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB) and The Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) and registered as an associate EIA expert with NEMA
