Frequently Asked Questions – Bottleless Water Dispenser
1. Where is the source of the water?
The dispensers are connected to treated water from TATUWASCo, which has undergone purification at our on-site water treatment facility. This ensures the water meets safe drinking standards before passing through the unit’s additional filtration system.
2. Is the water from the new dispenser safe to drink?
Yes. The dispensers are fitted with multi-stage filtration systems that meet health and safety standards. Routine water quality checks will be carried out during the trial.
3. Why are the usual water dispensers being removed?
To encourage staff to try and provide feedback on the new solution, the current units in Block C and Finance will be temporarily removed during the POC.
4. Will hot and cold water still be available?
Yes. The trial unit offers both hot and cold-water functionality.
5. Where can I find the new dispensers?
The trial unit has been installed at the Tatu House Administration Block, specifically at the Tea Area, for convenient access and consistent usage during the POC.
6. How do I give feedback?
A short Google Form will be shared to collect feedback during the trial. All responses will be anonymous.
7. Who do I contact if there’s a problem with the unit?
Please report any issues to the receptionist at Tatu House.
8. What happens after the POC?
Feedback will inform the decision on whether to roll out the solution more broadly across the workplace.
9. Will cups or bottles be provided?
We encourage the use of personal reusable bottles. A limited number of cups may be available if needed.
10. What are the benefits of this solution?
• Reduced reliance on plastic bottles
• More sustainable water delivery
• Lower operational footprint
• On-demand filtered water
