Tatu City/Vision 2030 Partnership Endorses Tatu City

Tatu City added another memorable date to its development history – 15 September 2011 - when the Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Board signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tatu City Limited. This endorses the unique housing and infrastructure development concept as a model for private development and management of municipalities.

This is a significant milestone on Tatu City’s journey to completion. The signing endorses the unique housing and infrastructure development concept of Tatu City as a model for private development and management of municipalities.

Speaking during the ceremony, Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Board Chairman, Dr. James Mwangi, hailed the City’s master planners for developing a holistic urbanization model that is cognizant of the social and economic pillars of Vision 2030.

Tatu City Limited Chairman, Nahashon Nyagah, confirmed the partnership would promote Kenya’s socio-economic development, saying, “We are delighted to collaborate with Vision 2030 whose goal for sustainable development for our nation inspired Tatu City. At a macro level, our project will not only positively impact the livelihoods of ordinary Kenyans but will also assist the Government in its efforts to adjust its policies to accommodate similar projects.”
