The Development Landscape
TATU City is a new Sh240 billion development underwritten with the backing of Moscow-based Renaissance Partners, the world’s leading emerging markets investment bank. It also has the full support of the Kenyan government, conforming to the Nairobi Metropolitan 2030 Vision and that of Kenya’s vision 2030. Local ownership and management of the project is through TATU City Limited, with former Central Bank Governor, Nahashon Nyagah, Vimal Shah and Josphat Kinyua constituting the Board of Directors.
TATU City will create thousands of new jobs for Kenyans and continue creating them as it grows in both size and stature.
The entire development was conceived and planned by a team of leading urban planners and architects. TATU City is a dynamic, mixed-use environment that will be home to 62 000 citizens, with a projected 23 000 visitors every day. It will be privately managed through the Property Owners Association, to which all property owners belong, with state of the art utilities and public transport.
